From a hobby project to something we share
My name is Alex, and I started Dear Place Studio as a hobby project in Gothenburg. Since then, it has grown into something bigger than I first imagined.
What has touched me most is how many people give the maps as gifts. A place can hold an entire story between two people. Sometimes it says more than the words on a card.
Maps seem to hold a special place in many people’s hearts. What began as my own project has become something of a movement, built around places and memories that people want to preserve and share.

You choose the place, colours and frame. We create the model in Gothenburg, with care for every detail.
